Intraoral scanner CS3600

Smart scanning, efficient results

The CAD/CAM system in prosthodontics is a milestone in dentistry. It comprises an intraoral scanner, computer software, laboratory scanners and laboratory milling machines.

The main function of the intraoral scanner is to record conditions in the mouth and transmit this information to the laboratory for the fabrication of prosthetic restorations supported on the patient’s teeth or implants. The intraoral scanner collects all the data necessary for the prosthetic work, resulting in a three-dimensional image of the entire bite.

This is done without:

  • the need to take impressions with the prosthetic material
  • without waiting for it to set
  • without difficulty in breathing
  • and without the gag reflex

and therefore considerably more comfortable. After taking a digital impression, the dentist directly analyses the correctness of the tooth preparation under high magnification.

If an imperfection is detected, the doctor is immediately able to make a correction

If the preparation has been carried out correctly, the digital data are sent to the laboratory, where the technician starts designing and making the prosthetic restoration without any additional delay.

There is no need to send impressions via courier, cast plaster models or wait for the plaster to harden.

However, the most important thing for us (apart from the comfort of the patient, of course) is the precision of the created image and the lack of errors that the impression is burdened with. The use of this technology guarantees the best quality of prosthetic work.

Is preparation needed for the CS 3600 test?
